What We Collect

ChefBid PRO collects information you provide when creating an account — your name, email address, and password. We also store event data, vendor entries, and cost analyses you create within the app. This data is stored locally on your device using browser storage and is not transmitted to our servers.

Your Anthropic API key is stored locally on your device only and is never sent to ChefBid PRO servers. It is transmitted directly and securely to Anthropic's API when you use AI features.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide and improve the ChefBid PRO service. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not display advertising.

Data Storage

All user data including your account, saved events, and vendor history is stored in your browser's local storage. This means your data stays on your device. Clearing your browser data will remove your ChefBid PRO data. We recommend exporting important events as PDF before clearing browser data.

Third-Party Services

ChefBid PRO uses the Anthropic Claude API to power AI features. When you use AI analysis, your menu descriptions and event details are sent to Anthropic for processing. Please review Anthropic's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle data.

Our site is hosted on Vercel. Please review Vercel's Privacy Policy for hosting-related data practices.

Cookies

ChefBid PRO does not use tracking cookies. We use browser local storage to save your session and preferences.

Your Rights

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, or by contacting us at info@chefbidpro.com.
